The history of the Zimara GmbH

The foundation was laid for the manufacture of our own precision rotary tools in 1987. The company initially rented premises in a Northeimer backyard.

To optimise the manufacturing conditions and processes, the production and management was relocated to its own building in 1989.

The premises at Lange Lage 5 in Northeim have been home to the precision rotary tools works for more than 20 years.

Technical progress with production machines such as CNC-controlled saws, automatic rule cutting machines and laser and waterjet cutting systems have facilitated production.

However, one thing has not changed over the years.

A rotary cutting die is and remains a handmade individual piece!

We place a lot of value on precise craftsmanship and train our employees regularly in the production processes.

We constantly add to and optimise our range of machinery with innovative and individual production aids.

A cooperative partnership was started in 2000 with Hesse Stanzwerkzeuge GmbH in Alfeld.

The two companies have supplied high-quality products in the field of rotary and flat cutting dies for more than 12 years.

Over the years we have developed our own quality management system to ensure our production processes are carried out correctly.
